Julinka Misztal MA RCA is founder and Creative Director of Story Designs, a textile studio dedicated to embellishment and embroidery design for fashion and home.
Julinka brings 24 years of fashion and textile experience to her role following a successful career as Womenswear Designer for Christian Lacroix, John Richmond, Ted Baker, Rebecca Taylor and Karen Millen.
Her current expertise is in the direction, trend development and design of modern, sustainable and innovative embellishment and embroidery, where traditional hand crafted techniques meet contemporary design. Renowned for meticulous attention to detail and exceptional quality, we’ve proudly served many international brands, including Coach, Kate Spade, Nobody’s Child, J Crew, ASOS, Ralph Lauren, Boden, Next, Anthropologie and River Island.
Julinka is also a mentor to students from many renowned Fashion and Textile Degree courses in their internship years, providing guidance, teaching and training in textiles within a creative, fast paced and successful business practice.
