Heidi Fielding

Heidi graduated from the University of Brighton in 2001 and has worked in the fashion industry for over 20 years. Heidi began her career at Marks and Spencer, where she spent five years progressing from Assistant Designer to Designer in various departments, including ladies’ swimwear and tops. She then moved to Debenhams, where she worked on “Designers at Debenhams” during its heyday, contributing to many successful collaborations within the Debenhams portfolio.

This was followed by Heidi’s appointment as Senior Designer at New Look, where she spent 10 years advancing to Head of Design across womenswear and brands. In this role, she was responsible for defining and delivering the company’s creative trend direction, handwriting, key items, print, colour, and seasonal styling.

Heidi’s proven track record demonstrates she is a highly motivated, inspirational, commercial, and astute Head Designer who consistently delivers stand-out creative outcomes whilst operating strategically, innovatively, and commercially.

After a decade, Heidi felt ready for a new challenge and embarked on the journey of establishing her own business. In collaboration with Michelle Evatt a fellow University of Brighton alumni, they jointly founded The Curated Collective. Their design agency operates on two fronts: offering a design-on-demand service to both new and established brands and creating and bringing new brands to market’.
